+ PYBAR Wins Tritton Contract

PYBAR Mining Services Pty Ltd has been successful in securing a 3 year underground mining and development contract with Straits Resources at Tritton. The Tritton Copper Mine is located approx 12km North of Hermidale and 60kms west of Nyngan.

The project work involves approx 15,000 m of decline and ore body access development together with longhole production drilling, vertical development, bogging, trucking, cablebolting and associated ground support functions.

The project commenced mid March 2008 with Jim Johnson as the Project Manager.  At this stage the workforce is expected to consist of approximately 120 personnel working 12 hours shifts on an even time roster. The focus is attracting, training and retaining a locally based workforce. As we continue to attract and develop a locally based workforce there will be a component of the workforce commuting on a Fly in Fly Out (FIFO) basis.

The mining fleet consists of 3 jumbos, 2 longhole drill rigs, 4 loaders, 6 underground 50 tonne haul trucks together with 3 IT’s, grader, water cart, charge up and shotcrete units and underground light vehicles.

Mr Andrew Glastonbury, Business Development Manager says, "we are hoping this is the start of a fruitful and long term relationship with Straits Resources at their Tritton and Girilambone operations and that this contract leads to further growth of PYBAR's share of the NSW metalliferous mining sector."

+ PYBAR Wins Award

Pybar Wins Award

Within two months of completing the PYBAR head office building, we have been awarded by the ORANGE City Council Tidy Towns Advisory Committee. PYBAR’s new head office building has improved the appearance of our local area and hope to inspire other businesses to do so and take pride in our city.

Tidy Towns believes businesses should take pride in their presentation of their businesses and PYBAR have been awarded in view of that.

PYBAR’s managing director Mr Paul Rouse said renovations were completed about 8 weeks ago for our new home in Forest Road.  ‘The new building combines three previous locations all under the one roof.’

PYBAR was congratulated by ORANGE City Council, Tidy Towns Advisory committee chairman, councilor Jason Hamling and presented with certificates of appreciation.
