Mineral Hill to go deeper

KBL Mining Limited has confirmed a new copper-gold lode directly below the current development of the Parkers Hill ore body at the Mineral Hill Mine in NSW.

In December 2010 PYBAR re-opened and rehabilitated the Eastern Ore Zone portal and began development to the Parkers Hill ore body. Stope production was started in November 2011 and both development and production of Parkers Hill continues today. A recent exploration drilling program to extend mining reserves below the lowest development level of the Parkers Hill ore body resulted in the discovery of a new copper-gold lode. Decline development to access this recently discovered lode has started and an additional 94 metres of development will provide access to this resource, providing a significant boost to KBL’s mining revenue for the 2013 financial year.

“PYBAR are pleased to be working with KBL Mining right from the start at Mineral Hill and to be involved in the development of this exciting new load discovery” says PYBAR Director, Brendan Rouse.

The Mineral Hill site is a very important part of PYBAR’s growing footprint in Central NSW, which includes development and shotcreting with CSA Mine in Cobar and the commencement of development with YTC Resources at Hera-Nymagee.

“The Mineral Hill contract extension is an example of PYBAR’s long term commitment to our clients and projects.” says Brendan Rouse. “Results delivered to clients such as KBL Mining, have given us the opportunity to continue work when the project is extended.”.
