Lady Loretta QLD mobilised

PYBAR Xstrata Lady Loretta Equipment & staff from PYBAR has been mobilised to the Xstrata Zinc Lady Loretta project in Queensland.

Key plant and equipment rolled onto the site including a twin boom jumbo, 2 Volvo L120 IT, a brand new Elphinstone 2900 Loader as well the light vehicles to be used on site in the coming months.

Staff have arrived on site with offices and toilet blocks delivered so work can soon begin. This is a greenfields project which therefore requires a significant amount of infrastructure establishment. With the help of PYBAR personnel and equipment, Xstrata Zinc plans to develop 6,789 metres, establish incline stockpiles, lateral development, cross cuts, a vent drive and diamond drill bays.

“We have been pleased with how smooth the mobilisation has been,” said Operations Manager, David Hunter. “Our mobilisation team has extensive experience in projects like this and is making sure everything is installed and set up ready for scheduled commencement.”
